Week Commencing 27th November

Dear parents/carers

One more week until we allow ourselves to get carried away with festive joy! (Although it may creep in a little!)

The children have loved carrying out their experiments this week and we would like to give Daddy's more of an opportunity to join in with Pre-school fun so we will be setting a daddy and me science challenge in the sharing bags next week, obviously if Mummy's would like to get involved as well feel free.

Next week we will be focusing on physical development-health and self-care, so we thought we would bring the water tray indoors with the dolls and bath baby's and think about keeping clean and why we need to keep clean and wash our hands. We will also be encouraging the children to put on their own aprons.

The children have really been enjoying and gaining a lot from open ended resources such as boxes/ crates/ material so we will be extending the available resources for their play.

In our small group time we will be doing some music and movement and talking about feelings we will also be having some fun with action songs/rhymes.

Rising fives

I'm our rising fives session we will be playing one of our favourite letters and sounds games- noise neighbour and we will be practising our scissor skills
