Dear Parents/Carers,
Thank you to everyone who supported our Tough toddler event it was great fun and with your fantastic support we have raised over our £500 target!
The children have had a lovely week last week starting off with all the rain which the children made the most of splashing in puddles, watering (the already very wet!) plants, and now the beautiful sunshine. The children have been busy building pirate ships in the garden so next week we will extend on this by putting our sail out and pirate treasure chest. We will be making pirate maps and telescopes, any tubes such as kitchen roll insides, wrapping paper tube or Pringles pots greatly appreciated.
In the role play area we will be setting up a school, with registers, story books and uniforms to try on.
We have a busy week next week with visits from the reception class teachers on Monday and Friday morning, our rising fives visit to school on Wednesday, and of course our trip to Cotswold farm park on Tuesday.
Small group time- next week we will be looking at farm animals to tie in with our trip.
Rising fives- we will now be going back over all the sounds we have learned so far playing with the sound tins and singing the jolly phonics songs.
We would love for as many of you as possible to join us on the 18th for our sports day and end of year celebration picnic.
