Week Commencing 15th July

Dear Parents/Carers,

This week the children have been very creative, building outdoors, making a lovely variety of things in the craft area and even making themselves yesterday!

Well i think we are already for sports day next week! i hope you can all join us on Thursday 11.00-1.00 at the high road playing field. Don't forget to bring your picnic! Please can all children make sure they bring a water bottle and weather appropriate clothing.

We had planned to release our frog-lets this week but as they are so small and the children have loved watching them so much we have put this off until next week.

I hope all children who had their school visits this week had a lovely time we have had lots of lovely news from them.

Next week we will be focusing on the book 'there's a dragon at my school' he is a very cheeky dragon who gets up to all sorts of mischief, i wonder if he will visit us!

Continuing this theme the children will be making dragon pictures using a variety of shapes.

For all of you with children heading off to school in September, your child's leaning journey is ready to download, you should have received an email with instructions but if you have any problems please let me know. You have three weeks to download and save your child's file.

For all children staying with us if you have not done so already try downloading the new app, we have had some great feedback, particularly the fact that you can use fingerprint recognition to log in so don't need the long password!

HEAD-LICE- We have had a case of head-lice at pre-school please could you all check your child's hair and treat if necessary, products are available but putting conditioner on the hair and combing through with a fine tooth comb can be just as effective.

We are still looking for any volunteers to help with our garden tidy up at the end of term.
