Week Commencing 10th June
Dear Parents/Carers
I hope you have all had a lovely week, the children have been very busy playing shops (although there were some very pricey items!), they have also been building outdoors and making plans to build a new pre-school and all the staff houses, which all sounds fantastic .
Next week we will be adapting the shop and turning it into a pet shop, we have some lovely stories to go with this theme that I'm sure the children will love.
Don't forget our fathers day breakfast Friday morning 8-9, all daddys (or family member) feel free to pop in for a morning treat with your child before work. Please let me know if you are able to join us so we can make sure we have enough bacon in! please also let me know if you have any special dietary requirements.
In our small group time we will be looking at letters, recognising letters in their name, drawing letters or even writing names and simple words if your child is ready. We will also be playing sock shakers from the letters and sounds programme.
Rising fives
Monday afternoon the children will be having their second school visit (the next two will be on the Wednesday session). The sound of the week will be 'f' and we will be going to the jungle in PE acting out the story of a rumble in the jungle.
