Week Commencing 22nd January

Dear parents/ Carers

I hope you have all had a lovely week.

This week the children have enjoyed looking at different types of technology, using the screwdrivers to undo toys and help replace batteries was very popular, the children have also been using a variety of computer programmes on the I pad and computer.

Next week our focus will be physical development so we will be doing some fun parachute games in the garden and in the hall. We will also be setting up a builders yard in our role play area and playing pirates outdoors, making treasure maps and pirate boats.

In our small groups we will be looking at numbers playing some number games and so going number songs. We will also be looking at rhyming words and reading rhyming books.

Rising fives- Our sound of the week is 'c' thank you to everyone who is bringing in an object for our letter sound each week the children are really enjoying sharing these. Our letters and sounds game will be 'finish the rhyme'.

LOST- a grey hat with pom pom, And red gloves with hearts, if anyone finds these please let us know.

Wiltshire radio will be broadcasting live from the village hall on Thursday afternoon to celebrate village hall week, and they have asked to speak to the Pre-school and some of the children so tune in from 2-4.
