Week Commencing 16th April
Dear parents/carers
Well we have reached the end of term already, i hope you all have a lovely Easter and enjoy lots of chocolate!
The children have enjoyed their Easter crafts and talking about what comes out of eggs, we have had some very interesting comments!
Next term we will be looking at spring, mummy and baby animals and life cycles.
When we return we will be able to see what changes we can observe with our tadpoles, Tina will be starting some planting and creating a potting and planting area with the children.
We will also be building and constructing using a range of recycled materials (junk modelling!) the children will be thinking about what to make what they will need and how to go about building, they will need to problem solve along the way and look at how their ideas are working. we will be encouraging the children to do all these things for themselves only stepping in when necessary and providing lots of support and encouragement.
In our small group time we will be having some number fun- making numerals and matching numeral to quantity.
Rising fives
Our sound of the week will be 'L' and we will be doing our first PE session!
Forest school will be moving to Thursday afternoons next term to enable different children to have ago, if you would like to join us for some outdoor fun please feel free.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Easter egg hunt and clothing collection this was a great success in adding funds for our pre-school.
Have a fantastic break and we will see you all on the week commencing 16th April,
Kind regards
Fliss and Team
