Week Commencing 11th June

Dear parents/carers,

I hope you have all had a lovely week, the children have been very busy this week climbing on the climbing frame, finding different ways up and down and sliding down or jumping (from a safe height!) They also had to think of their own rules for using the climbing frame and did very well at sticking to these and reminding each other.

In our small groups we were making up/ telling stories using puppets and props and it was lovely to see the children continuing with this during free play this week.

Thank you if you have emailed over/ brought in a holiday photo, we will be continuing this next week so it would be great to have some more.

We will be making musical instruments in the garden, if anyone has any empty coffee tins or similar we would love you to bring them in, thank you.

In our small groups we will be talking about holidays sharing and photos and then drawing pictures of our favourite things about holidays! we will be encouraging the children to use their correct pen grip and label their pictures themselves (Don't worry if they are not yet writing their name a squiggle is a good start and it is amazing how if they put a squiggle on their work to label it over time it takes shape!).

Rising fives

We will be visiting Ashton Keynes school and Tina will be planning fun activities for all other children.

On Friday it is our Daddy's day breakfast at 8.30 please let me know if you are able to attend so we have an idea of numbers, thank you.

Please could all leavers photo orders be in by next Friday.

Have a fab weekend

Kind regards

Fliss and team
