Week Commencing 15th October
Dear Parents/Carers,
The children had a lovely time today with Kate who came in to do some lovely painting forest school activities with the children to celebrate 'world forest school day' this was also a great taster for our trip next Tuesday. Please make sure you check the weather and dress your child accordingly, it is in the woods and we will be going in all weathers :0).
The children have been continuing to amaze us with their climbing and physical skills, this week they have introduced sliding down the slide then straight into a forward role!
As the weather is getting cooler we are supporting the children in changing shoes and putting coats on independently, this is something you can also continue at home to help them.
Next week we will be making pictures of ourselves and thinking about similarities and differences between us.
In our small group time we will be playing with puppets, making up stories together and focusing on our social skills playing in small groups. We will also be having fun making up new words to old songs.
Rising fives- Our letters and sounds activity will be 'which instrument' this encourages the children to listen to hidden sounds and try to identify which instrument is playing.
Diary dates
Tuesday 16th forest school
Wednesday- inset day and start of half term
Monday 5th November- Back to pre-school.
Have a lovely weekend,
Kind regards
Fliss and team
