Week Commencing 22nd October
Dear parents,
Well i can't believe we have already nearly reached the end of our first half term, The children have all been an absolute joy and were really looking forward to the rest of the year.
Next week is only a short one but we plan to pack it full of halloween fun with spooky crafts, pumpkin carving and pumpkin bread making. Also following on from our lovely self-portraits last week we will be drawing around each other and drawing/decorating ourselves.
In our small groups we will playing a great game called grandmothers footsteps from the letters and sounds programme and singing songs.
When we return after half term we will be bringing out the sparkles and colour creating firework pictures and having fun with splatter painting.
Please could we remind all parents to close the garden gate when entering and leaving the garden to avoid children running out into the carpark thank you.
Our tapestry online learning journeys are going well and we have had some great feedback. If you have not yet signed up please do so, so you can see photos and find out what your child has been doing at pre-school, if you need and help doing this please let me know. As this still new to us we welcome any comments and feedback from you. One thing has come to our attention that you may not have realised is that you can also add pictures and comments to your child's learning journey, for the parents that have, it has been wonderful to see what the children have been doing at home/over the weekends, and gives us a bigger picture of where your child's development is so we can plan effectively
