Week Commencing 12th November
Dear parents,
I hope you have had a lovely week, we have had great fun with some firework inspired activities, with firework dancing in the hall and garden to making firework pictures using bubble painting and splatter painting, and using shapes and bricks to make rockets.
The children also shared their holiday news telling us all about their Halloween and firework experiences.
Next week we will be making cakes and biscuits in aid of children in need they will be for sale at the end of each session to raise money for this great charity. We will also be finishing theweek on Friday with a PJ day and teddy bears picnic, everyone is invited to bring in a packed lunch, teddy and a donation and join us at 12.00.
Next week we will also be making poppies.
In our small group time we will be playing games that support positional language and Playing hidden instrument from the letters and sounds programme.
Rising fives- we will be looking at children in need in more detail looking at pictures and talking about the children we are supporting and colouring in some Pudsey bear pictures.
Parents evening- We will be holding a parents evening on Wednesday 28th November 5-7 please see your child's keyworker for an appointment.
Reading to your child and spending time just talking helps their development hugely, we spend a lot of time sharing stories at pre-school and the children are always keen for more, if you or a family member have any spare time to volunteer to come in to read to the children please let me know.
Please find theatre trip letter attached there will also be a copy in your child's draw.
Have a lovely evening if you are going to see the firework display tonight, raffle tickets will be om sale to support the pre-school.
Kindest regards
Fliss and team.
