Week Commencing 14th January

Dear parents,

I hope you have all had a good week, we are all back in routine now and the children have settled back in well.

This week the children have been taking photos of things that interest them so we have lots of great and unusual photos! we are looking at technology so the children have helped to put the images onto the computer ready to print out next week. Our computer has also had an update so this will be ready for the children next week with new program's for the children to try.

The children have also enjoyed exploring and looking at the ice in the garden so we have made some ice shapes for the children with some surprises inside!

In our small group time we will be making a book of all our favourite rhymes using children's choices and illustrations. We will also be focusing on communication and language-speaking, so we will be looking at photos on our tablets talking about who and what we can see.

Rising fives

On Wednesday we looked at the sound 's'. As we missed our Monday rising fives session we will be going back over this sound and starting our scrap books. Thank you to all who brought in items for our sound, we would love to see more this week.
