Week Commencing 25th March

Dear Parents,

What a lovely week we have had watching our frogspawn grow into tadpoles and welcoming five little caterpillars that are growing by the day. Next week we will be looking further into life-cycles and having fun acting out the cycles!

Next week we will be getting creative making butterfly print paintings, writing in some special cards and playing pairs games in small groups.

Our clothing collection is 9.00 am on Monday so help raise some funds for Pre-school and have a good spring clear out!

We are pleased to announce we have once again earned with the Bristol standard quality improvement award, i have attached more information about this and how you can contribute, please make time to read it as questions for you to answer will follow.

Small group time- We will be focusing on personal social and emotional development-Making relationships so we will be playing together using puppets and talking about what good friends they all are. We will also be playing sound bag from the letters and sounds program.

Rising fives

Our sound of the week will be 'r', and we will be continuing to look at initial sounds with name play- for example- super, squiggly, Sabrina!

Mothers day lunch- We would love you to join us for our mothers day lunch on Friday- please make sure you RSVP so we know how many lovely mummy's to expect.

Diary dates:

Monday 25th- clothing collection, please have a sort out of any clothes you no longer need and bring to pre-school by 9am. Please see our Facebook page for a list of what can be donated.

Friday 29th- Mothers day lunch 12-1.00 please see attached invitation.

Monday 1st April- Zoo lab 11-12 all welcome

Tuesday 2nd- Parents evening please see your child's key-worker for an appointment.

Monday 8th- Start of Easter holidays

Saturday 13th-Easter egg hunt

Tuesday 23rd- Back to pre-school
